Dave Estes

I started with Buckeye Landscape in August of 1980 as a mowing crew assistant. Through the years I have advanced to a mowing crew leader, superintendent and am now the Training and Safety Manager. As such, I am responsible for quality control, technical and safety training as well as production.

During my career, I have managed some of the largest commercial sites in Central Ohio where I was able to develop diversified skills in all areas of landscape maintenance and construction, site development, irrigation, lawn care, and snow removal (that's right, snow removal requires skill!)

I am an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician-Landscape, have completed Irrigation Troubleshooting Technician certification and have an Ohio Department of Agriculture Commercial Applicator's license with advanced certifications in industrial vegetation control (hardscapes, fence lines, gravel areas, etc.), ornamental pest and weed control (flowers, grasses, trees, shrubs).

I like the green industry because of the opportunity to work outdoors, and the satisfaction I get when I look at the final results with a satisfied customer: whether I have provided maintenance of a mature landscape, or built a new landscape from the ground up.
